The Quran, Bible and Torah

Whilst carrying out my research into the Miracles within the Qur’an, it was not just miracles I gained knowledge on but also found many raising various questions, the common questions were:

1) What about the Bible, what about the Torah?
2) Are they incorrect?
3) Who was Jesus (pbuh)?
4) Who was Moses (pbuh)?
5) Were they not important?
6) Were the Bible and Torah the words of God
7) Why were the Bible and Torah not preserved like the Qur’an is?

The Qur’an mentions three other scriptures within it’s verses which include The Bible and The Torah and the Prophets, including Jesus and Moses (Peace Be Upon Them). Christians believe Jesus (Peace Be Upon Him) is God, The Son Of God and the Holy Spirit whereas Muslims believe Jesus (Peace Be Upon Him) was one of the greatest messengers of God, but not God himself. So yes, Jesus (Peace Be Upon Him) is a very important part of Islam and Muslims love him but do not worship him as God.

Muslims believe Jesus did not claim divinity, nor did he say I am God or Worship me. The oldest Gospel was written after Jesus (pbuh) was raised to the Heavens by God. None of the writers of the Gosepels met Jesus (pbuh) so a lot of the verses state “according to”.  No where in the orginal testament or text highlighted in red did Jesus (pbuh) say he was God or where he said worship me.

According to muslims, Jesus (pbuh) did not say he was God or worship him. Muslims do not believe that Jesus (pbuh) was the Son of God, Mary was the mother of God and also the daughter of God. Muslims believe the original scripture revealed to Jesus (pbuh) was indeed sent down by God (Allah) but do not believe the Gospels/New versions which were written years later.

One of the verses within the Qur’an mentions. the below verse. There are many more verses which mention the prophets (Peace Be Upon Them All)

“Say: we believe in God and in what has been revealed to us, and what was revealed to Abraham, Isma’il: Isaac, Jacob and The Tribes, and in (the Books) given to Moses, Jesus and the Prophets, from their Lord: We make no distinction between one and another, among them, and to God do we bow our will (in Islam).”
(Qur’an, 3:84)

So what about the Bible and the Torah?
The revelations revealed to Jesus and Moses (Peace Be Upon Them) were the Word of God (Allah), but Muslims believe that the new testaments have been changed over time. Whereas the Qur’an remains in it’s original language and unchanged for over 1400 years.

God (Allah), has mentioned that the Qur’an will be protected from corruption and the miracle is that the Qur’an has not been changed as God promised.

This is why today the Qur’an has been preserved in it’s original form and also memorised in it’s original language by millions from around the World. I found many sites trying to prove this incorrect, but it was clear they were desperate to prove the Qur’an incorrect but continue to fail miserably.

So why were the other original scriptures not preserved if they were the Word of God (Allah)?
Muslims believe that the old scriptures when revealed to Jesus and Moses (Peace Be Upon Them) were the word of God (Allah), but God (Allah) never preserved them because they were revealed for the people of that time and not for the whole of Humanity.

The Qur’an mentions in several verses, that it is meant for all of Humanity. This is why today, the Qur’an continues to reveal signs which match modern science and keeps up with us even today. I would like to clear at this point that the Qur’an is not a book of science but a book of signs.

Another question which I came across, Was the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) the founder of Islam 1400 years ago?

Millions of people seem to think Islam was only discovered 1400 years ago by the Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him). Islam was not discovered 1400 years ago, but has always existed, the Qur’an was the final message and the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was the final messenger of Allah (God). Jesus and Moses (Peace Be Upon Them) were also messengers. There were thousands of messengers but God has only mentioned the most recent.

God mentioned within the Quran, He will protect the Quran from corruption. This is why today you will find the Qur’an the same around the World. Millions have revised the Arabic off by heart which shows Allah (God) chose the language wisely. If we turn to the other scriptures, they were written in different languages such as the Bible’s original form was Ancient Hebrew/Greek but not many speak or read the language today. This is another sign to Muslims, that the Bible was sent down for the people of that time and not the whole of Humanity.

If a change was to occur within the Qur’an today, it would be noticed by millions of Muslims around the world who have revised the complete Qur’an off by heart.

Another common question is, The Prophet Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him) made up the Qur’an. If you carry out your research as I did, you will find that the Qur’an could not have been made up. This was one of the reasons which inspired me to create this website. The Qur’an continues to reveal signs which could not have been known by humans over 1400 years ago, including the Universe, Human Creation, The Water Cycle and much more in such great detail that no one could have known at the time. If it was made up, it would today include many mistakes and Muslims would start questioning the verses.

Finally, another question you may come across, The Qur’an was copied from the Bible. Muslims believe the original Bible when revealed to Jesus (Peace Be Upon Him) was the word from God (Allah). The Qur’an was the final message, so of course the books will be similar but the Qur’an includes updated information from God for the whole of Humanity and thousands of signs which do not exist in the Bible. Basically, the Qur’an is seen as the final version.

God knows best
